The 2020 Hair-styles to watch out for!

It might not exactly be a whole new decade yet (that would be on January the 1st 2021) but nonetheless, it is most definitely the beginning of an exciting New Year. Our salon is rapidly expanding as our knoweldge and skills are becoming more and more known throughout London and we are soon to also be opening a brand new salon in the next few weeks (hush hush🤫). Our aim is to be able to offer our unique services across London to as many of our fantastic customers as possible but also educate the public on veganism and its benefits.

At the same time however, we always have to keep up with trends and fashion and make sure we offer the best and latest possible hair styles and colouring to our fans. Like every year, this is no exception with a brand new “crop” of haircuts and styles becoming more popular, prevalent (or trendy if you wish). This doesn’t mean they’reSome of these are not necessarily completely new and you may have even “worn” them yourself in the past as trends tend to circulate from time to time. Just like hair-colour trends, some of these styles have been “in trend” at one time or another, and some (most) never really went “out of fashion” at anytime and tend to last. However, there are always some new styles that pop up and certain cuts are everywhere — do become more popular if seen on celebrities, street style stars, and Instagram models, especially.

Short or Long, Brunette or Blonde, Straight or Wavy, Classy or Crazy — we have the latest on how to get the haircut, hair colour and hairstyle you want as well as the best advice on how to maintain. So let’s have a look at 4 of these hair styles we believe will be the new exciting features of this year’s Hair industry:

Short Hair..Don’t Care

Nothing shows confidence more that your ability to strut your natural beauty around in a short haircut and style. Despite mis-perception, short hair-styles are actually very easy to style and can bring out the look your desire in a variety of ways. Last but not least, they are particularly popular for women confident in themselves and that lead a busy lifestyle as they require minimum aftercare and are easy to style.

The FlashLift Modern Shag

The 70’s modern shag is back and celebrities like Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift are already using it to make their fashion statements at the beginning of the year. Sexy, modern and with a twist of Roayalty, the shag has always been in trend in various styles and designs. Ask our stylists to work with you on finding the best possible one for you this year and step out like..The Queen you really are.

If it’s not Balayage, I don’t want to know

Balayage has been a hair colour favourite for our fans and customers for years. This is mainly because of its ability to give hair a subtle, flattering lift whilst also allowing that elegant style to come out. It can be particularly beautiful on both black and brown hair and adding highlights can also create that sense of “movement” and “flawlessness” to it on naturally wavy hair.

Highlighting the Blonde

Black hair and Blonde Highlights is one of those trends that always seem to be in trend. It is most definitely one of our most popular requests at GA Salons and always adds an unusual and unique dimension to black or brown hair. If you’re looking to experiment with a lighter colour, adding touches of honey blonde to your dark base is an easy way to test out the look. . Feel free to also ask Gennaro or one of our stylists to add in silver or even rose gold pieces for a multi-faceted and “stand-out” finish.

Tell us what you think of the above trending hairstyles or send us a picture of your hair and how you would like it to look in 2020 – Gennaro and our team will then contact you to arrange a consultation and find the best possible style and hair colour for your hair!
