Light up your Hair with Shatush!

The time for our salons to re-open is getting ever closer. As saddened as we may be about the millions of people worldwide suffering with the pandemic, it is also paramount for us all to show resolve, strength, compassion and battle through these hard times. As the government restrictive measures and lock-down are slowly – but carefully- been withdrawn, we are sure most of you are already planning that long awaited visit to GA Salons.

No matter which one of our 4 salons you are visiting in London Bridge, Chelsea, Wimbledon or Notting Hill, you are probably already aware of our worldwide known expertise in hair colouring. And hair colouring is neither a simple nor an easy option if you are not sure what you are looking to achieve.

Whether it is a Balayage, Ombre or rejuvenating Shatush, the options available can be quite confusing if your personal stylist is not there to explain what exactly each hair treatment is all about. We have already posted a blog in the past about our Balayage options and hence have decided to elaborate further on our Shatush treatment for this week’s blog.

The Shatush is a fairly new, highly popular and innovative technique that it is up there with this year’s hair trends. So let’s have a look at what Shatush actually means for your hair.

Shatush is a specialist, stylist, hand-free technique when lightening the hair, keeping roots slightly darker than the ends of your hair strands to achieve a natural look. It creates a subtle transition from dark to light strands similar to balayage creating a sun-kissed look, many of us look to achieve. Our stylist will normally start by lightening your hair into two to four tones, carefully backcombing your hair the length and tips of your hair, whilst at the same time leaving your roots unaffected. It is highly resistant to weather and is the perfect way to keep that fresh, summer look throughout the year and cold seasons.

Here at GA Salons we are able to offer 3 different options for your next hair pampering session, when it comes to Shatush. Shatush Highlights for Short or Long hair and of course our signature Effetto Barca style. You are also able to choose from our plethora of stylists and also check the full prices, by simply clicking here.

For all of our fans and customers in London that are still unsure as to whether they should book that appointment, Gennaro, our CEO is asking everyone to follow two pieces of advice: stay alert and do not touch that box dye, which could cause irreparable damage and hundreds of pounds to repair. We will keep you updated through our Blog and Social media as soon as we can, in regards to our opening times again according to government instructions.
