Advice #1. Hydrate your skin regularly! 💦

Why is it so important?

Your skin is made up of three layers: the outer layer (epidermis), the underlying skin (dermis), and the subcutaneous tissue. When the outermost layer of your skin does not contain enough moisture, the skin will lose its elasticity and feel rough.

Staying hydrated will rejuvenate your skin so it looks and feels smooth and soft. This is due to the fact that the outermost layer of the skin has the moisture it needs to flush away toxins and carry nutrients to the skin’s cells. Skin that is well-hydrated also is less sensitive to irritants and germs that can slip through the lipid barrier when the skin lacks moisture.

Here's what you can do to stay hydrated 💦 this winter:
1. Have a good skincare routine (cleansing, toner, facial oil, moisture)
2. See a professional for a facial once a month (Forlle'd Essential Facial, for example - on the photo. You can make a booking on our site or just DM us)

The owner of the Salon said to me "Our top colourist can put over 200 foils in less than 1 hour". My answer was "I think it is more important to understand how many highlight the clients need than how many you can do".
I was fired before I was even hired but hey........ I still think the same.

One of the first examples of European women embracing short hair dates back to the early 1800s in France when women wore the Titus haircut, which was thought to have been inspired by the way a person’s hair was cut before they were put in the guillotine.

In the 1930s and 1940s, as flapper style faded, there was a return to longer lengths. Fast-forward to the 1950s, and the pixie cut as we know it today—though not quite as short—was born. Popularized by the actress Audrey Hepburn.

By the late 1990s and early 2000s, the pixie had become less about gendered rebellion and more a statement of individuality.

Ultimately, though, how you want to wear your hair is up to you. “Hair is such a personal choice and can be a true representation of your identity. So, have fun with it and don’t be afraid of change.”
